South Carolina has a strong history of pervious concrete dating back to the early 90s.

The Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association is South Carolina’s local sponsoring group for the NRMCA Pervious Concrete Contractor Certification. This certification is an industry standard for contractors who intend to place pervious, and it is widely required by specifiers and owners who wish to incorporate pervious concrete into construction projects.

In order to become a certified technician in South Carolina, one must attend a CRMCA class and take the exam. Classes are offered quarterly throughout the Carolinas. Classes are typically offered in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC and Charleston, SC. If your company would like to schedule a private class, the CRMCA can accomodate this request.
