AU Applied Structures students will be placing pervious concrete for the Auburn University Fisheries parking lot. This project consists of placing 40 cubic yards of pervious at the Auburn Fisheries department located on South College St. Replacement of the gravel parking spaces with pervious concrete will promote proper drainage as well as prevent any further run off damage to the parking lot and surrounding areas. The project is broken up into two sections of parking spaces located on either side of the main entrance. The parking lot will be approximately 1960 sq. feet with an estimated 11 new parking spaces. The concrete parking spaces will encourage people to visit the Auburn Fisheries dept. and market.
